On arrival at Hanoi Noi Bai Airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Free time in Hanoi and overnight in Hanoi.
In the morning, you will have a good occasion to learn about Vietnam cuisine with Highway 4 restaurant. Starting the tour by walking on the market and preparing the ingredient with your chief, you then learn how to cook Vietnam food and enjoy them as your lunch.
In the afternoon, after enjoying the tranquility of Hoan Kiem Lake's Ngoc Son Temple we are free to explore the intriguing and bustling Old Quarter with its 36 streets packed with traditional handicrafts and goods. Take a city tour by cyclo and a performance of traditional Vietnamese Water Puppetry. Dinner on your own. Overnight in Hanoi
Today you travel across the rural plain of the Red River Delta to the World Heritage site of Ha Long Bay where our boat and sumptuous seafood lunch await us. Cruising amongst the limestone islets you will have a chance to explore various islands and caves including Dinh Huong island, Ga Choi island, Dog island, Sail island and the beautiful Sung Sot (Surprise) cave and stop for swimming at Titov beach.
Dinner will also be served onboard, after which, our boat will moor in a quiet bay for the night. Cabins are twin share with private facilities and hot water. Overnight on board.
You wake up to have a breakfast in this spectacular bay before joining a morning cruise to visit Man’s head island, Tortoise island, visit Luon cave by small bamboo boat and Bai Tu Long bay. Head back to the harbor and Hanoi’s airport for late flight to Hue.
On arrival in Hue transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Hue.
Enjoy your lunch and free afternoon in Hoi An beach. Overnight in Hoi An.
A short morning flight brings us to dynamic Ho Chi Minh City, the poyourhouse of the South. You visit Notre Dame Cathedral, the War Remnants Museum and Reunification Palace before heading out to the Chinese District of Cho Lon with its bustling wholesale market and colorful grand Pagodas.
Enjoy the lunch at local restaurant. The cuisine of the south uses many herbs and spices and has been influenced by Cambodia, Thailand and India, among others. Curries using coconut milk are an example of this influence. The south also has a wide selectionof tropical fruits and vegetables that are not readily available in the cooler north. Overnight in HCMC.
Today is spent learning how to cook the Southern cuisine at one of our favorite restaurants; after that, you take a half-day to visit the former Viet Cong guerilla base of the Cu Chi tunnels. Back to Ho Chi Minh city .
In the afternoon, join our cooking class at one of our favorite restaurant New Nomad. You will discover the different between Saigon gourmet with Hanoi and Hue gourmet. The southern food is often sweet. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
