Day~1– Oct 23 : Ho Chi Minh arrival
On arrival at Tan Son Nhat Airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel for check in. Free time for your leisure. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh

  • – Oct 24: Ho Chi Minh City – Cu Chi – City Tour (B)
After breakfast, we venture beyond the city limits to the former Viet Cong stronghold at Cu Chi, where we explore this remarkable tunnel network. Return to Ho Chi Minh city at noon. In the afternoon, free to visit the dynamic energy of Ho Chi Minh City with Notre Dame Cathedral and the former US Embassy and shopping at Ben Thanh market or take the optional tour. Lunch and dinner on your own. O/N in Ho Chi Minh city.
Day~3– Oct 25: Ho Chi Minh - City Tour (B)
After breakfast, visit Ho Chi Minh City with Reunification Palace, Thien Hau Pagoda. Free time in the afternoon. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

  • – Oct 26: Ho Chi Minh - Mekong delta day trip (B, L)
In the morning you will depart for My Tho Town in Mekong Delta, the “rice basket” of Vietnam. Stop at Go Den Winery to see how they make & taste sticky rice wine and to interact with local people. After arrival in My Tho, you will take the boat ride across the Mekong River. Transfer to a sampan row boat along the natural canal. Visit a local house, orchard garden, bee farm, sampling honey tea, taking horse-cart ride, coconut candy factory… Lunch at a local house on the island with local specialties. Drive back to HCMC in the late afternoon. Dinner on your own. O/N in HCMC.

  • – Oct 27: Ho Chi Minh – Da Nang – Hoi An (B)
After breakfast, take a short flight to Da Nang. Transfer to visit Cham Museum & Non Nuoc Mountain. Then transfer to Hoi An. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day~6– Oct 28 : Hoi An (B )
Hoi An, a major Asian trading port in the 17th and 18th centuries whose architecture and relaxed lifestyle has changed little over the years. Morning take a walking tour of the old town center to visit the former merchants' homes, the 400 year-old Japanese Covered Bridge, and the colorful market. Free time in the afternoon. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day~7– Oct 29 : Hoi An (B )
Free time allday for your relax at the beach or cycling tour to Hoian. Accommodation only. Overnight in Hoian
Day~8– Oct 30 : Hoi An – Da Nang - Hue (B )
After breakfast, we continue travelling to Hue. Arrive Hue, check in hotel. In the afternoon, we follow the cobbled paths through the grounds of the Imperial Citadel and tour the Forbidden Purple City, imagining the regal splendours of a life and time in the not so distant past. Shopping at Dong Ba market.
Lunch and dinner on your own. Overnight in Hue.
Day~9– Oct 31 : Hue (B)
After breakfast at hotel, visiting the ornate tomb of King Khai Dinh, a testimony to the power and indulgence of the ruling dynasty and continue to visit Tu Duc tomb. In the afternoon, boat trip to visit the Perfume River by royal dragon boat to serene Thien Mu Pagoda and the majestic tomb of King Ming Mang. Lunch and dinner by your own. Overnight in Hue.
Day~10– Nov 01: Hue – Hanoi (B)
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for a flight to Hanoi. Meet you at Noi Bai airport and transfer to hotel and check in. Free time at your leisure. Overnight in Hanoi.

  • – Nov 02: Hanoi – Hoa Lu – Lao Cai (B; L)

A 120km drive through rural northern Vietnam to the site of Vietnam’s first capital, Hoa Lu. After visiting the two remaining sanctuaries of the ancient citadel, take a sampan on a river through the rice paddies to the grottoes of the sacred Tam Coc Caves. Enormous limestone karsts jut out from the green rice fields giving rise to this place’s other name, ‘Halong on Land’. Return to Hanoi. Free time untill trasfer to the Train Station for a night train to Lao Cai. Overnight on train by soft sleeper.

Day~12– Nov 03 : Lao Cai – Sapa (B)
Arrive in Lao Cai in early morning. Breakfast in Lao Cai. Meet and transfer to “the town of fog” of Sapa by van. Check in and free time to visit Ham Rong Mountain with scenic spots: Gate of Heaven, Garden of Orchid, the Silver Waterfall. In the afternoon, trekking tour to Cat Cat village, 3km south of Sapa which is a steep and very beautiful hike down like everywhere in this area. After dinner on your own, free time to discover typical “Love Market” and taste grilled eggs, sugarcanes, sweet potatoes … Overnight in Sapa.

  • – Nov 04: Sapa with Lao Chai, Ta Van village (B)
After breakfast, we drive to Lao Chai. It's home to black H'mong and Dzay (or Nhang). Continue to visit Ta Van village, where Black H’mong lives. Lunch and dinner at Ta Van. Overnight at homestay in Ta Van.

  • – Nov 05: Sapa with Ta Phin village - Hanoi (B)
After breakfast, we go a walk for short time and continue to visit Ta Phin village. And go to Lao Cai station for the night train to Hanoi. Lunch and dinner on your own. Overnight on train.
Day~15– Nov 06: Hanoi – Halong ( B, L, D)

In the morning, pick up at train station, have breakfast at restaurant and transfer directly to Halong Bay. Enjoy the journey through the rich farmlands of the Red River Delta and the scenery of rice fields, water buffalo and everyday Vietnamese village life.
Arrive in Halong, 12h00:Board our traditional sailing junk, check-in registration. Have lunch with welcome wine. A fantastic cruise in Ha Long bay, visit Dinh Huong island, Ga Choi island, Dog island, Sail island, visit Sung Sot cave and a swim at Titov beach. Enjoy dinner on board while watching sunset. Fishing, drinking Vietnamese wine, and spending a night on board.

Day~16– Nov 07: Halong cruising (B, L, D)

Breakfast on board,  Free at leisure for swimming. Another wonderful cruise to visit Tortoise island , Mans head island, visit Luon cave by a small bamboo boat.
Have lunch on board.
Visit Ba Ham lake (selected according to the tides), Three Peaches beach.
Free leisure for fishing and drinking  in the late afternoon.  Have dinner  and overnight on board.

Day~17– Nov 08: Halong – Cat Ba (B, L)

Breakfast on board, Visit Bai Tu long Bay, Teapot island, Chopstiks island , Bai tho  mountain
Return to Halong city  and have lunch on board.  we continue to take a 5 hours boat ride through Halong Bay to Cat Ba island, the largest island in the vicinity of Halong Bay. Enjoy scenic caves and grottoes of beautiful place designated as World’s Heritage Site. Visit the town by night. Overnight in Cat Ba.

Day~18– Nov 09: Cat Ba (B )

AM: After breakfast, we take a trekking tour (18 kms) through the park to Viet Hai village which is still very dense and unknown to the civilised world. The park has diverse ecosystems with tropical evergreen forests on the hills, fresh water swampy forests at the foot of the hills, coastal mangrove forests, small fresh water lakes. PM: We take a 4 hour boat ride to the scenic Lan Ha Bay, off the eastern side of Cat Ba island, where you can explore numerous beautiful beaches. Lunch and Dinner on your own. Overnight in Cat Ba.

  • – Nov 10: Cat Ba - Hai Phong - Hanoi (B, L)
AM: After breakfast, you will spend hours relaxing in sandy beaches namely Cat Co 1 and Cat Co 2, 1km from Cat Ba town over a steep headland. The two beaches are separated by a small hillock that can be climbed over in about 20 minutes. You can also take the easier route along new, 700m, wooden seaside walkway around the mountain. After lunch on your own, take the express hydrofoil (with air-conditioning) back to Hai Phong for a road trip to Hanoi.
Day~20– Nov 11 : Hanoi city tour (B)

In the morning, transfer to have breakfast at restaurant. Visit President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum and humble house on stilts, as well as the famous One Pillar Pagoda and Temple of Literature (Viet Nam's first University).
In the afternoon, after enjoying the tranquility of Hoan Kiem Lake's Ngoc Son Temple we are free to explore the intriguing and bustling Old Quarter with its 36 streets packed with traditional handicrafts and goods. Take a city tour by cyclo and a performance of traditional Vietnamese Water Puppetry. Lunch and dinner on your own. Overnight at hotel in Hanoi

Day~21– Nov 12: Depart Hanoi (B)
A good opportunity to do some last minute shopping before your transfer to Noi Bai Airport for your ongoing flight.
